Works amazingly, smells GREAT, easy to use, not too expensive. We have 4 cats and had a 5th and the (meant to be replaced over 5 years ago) carpets show the wear, tear and every sickness and party. We bought this product to clean the carpeting stains left by the previous owners. Our pets are naturally perfect and would not even think of soiling the carpet. In whose dreams was that? Regardless, the old stains were really embedded and even when the professionals cleaned the carpet before we took possession the stains did not fully leave. But this Hoover Detergent did the job and did it well. Amazement would be a good word to describe our surprise when we saw those stains leave. Moreover, those stains left without bleach. Bleach would have taken them up, probably, but who needs to have a big pink spot instead of the rose colored carpeting? Great stuff and works well for us. Would buy again.

works fine... i wouldn't say it is any better than any other cleaning formula but gets the job done.
