Of course, that's not really saying much. I am impressed with how well this works, it's quick and easy. I am training myself to use it whenever I sweep. I think it easily does as well as I do with my mop and it has the bonus of drying the floor quickly. I have three dogs and I've never been able to mop without a dog or a husband walking through it.
If you're looking for an industrial floor scrubber, this is not it. But if you're looking for an easier way to take care of your normal mopping, this is a great investment.

I was really disappointed with this machine. My big complaint is that it will not pick up little stain spots. I had some sort of spot, looked like gravy, and I went over and over it. I couldn't believe it wouldn't be removed. The cleaning solution tank is so small it runs out quickly on a dirty floor. Some areas I had to spend an inordinate amount of time on. One other problem is the cleaning solution is released on to the floor and the squeegee picks it right up so there is only a minuscule amount of cleaner on the floor. I figured that a dedicated cleaner with rotating brushes would quickly clean, but I am doing my small kitchen now (linoleum) and I'm only half done and it has been an hour already, with the fluid running out. I am going to just try plain warm water and see if it will work the same. I think if the brushes were an 1/8th inch longer, more agitation would occur. Oh well.

Great machine for cleaning prefinished hardwood floors. I have about 1200 sq. ft. of Brazillian Cherry pre finished Armstrong flooring. I use to break my back every weekend spraying and mopping floors with a micro fiber mop and cleaning solution. I now have a 9 month old English Bulldog and a four month old Pug and I just couldn't keep up. This certainly has reduced the effort and time spent. Great for touch up around the water bowl. Dry vacuum is handy but not meant to replace my Dyson. I found the cleaning solution gave the house a clean smell and the machine really got the dirt up. The only con I have found is the cleaning solution tank is rather small requiring a few fill ups to do all the flooring, but the process is simple enough.

I was in a customers house last month and noticed her Hoover cleaner. When I asked her about it her response was very favorable. This lady has been a customer of mine for over twenty years and I trust her judgement. On her recommendation I came to Amazon and read all the reviews. I have learned that reading reviews here is very interesting. There can be a hundred good ones and yet their are always a few bad ones. I always throw out the worst reviews because I have found there are people that just live to be dissatisfied.
I went ahead and bought this machine and after owning it for a month now I am very pleased. It cleans very well and leaves the floor almost completely dry if used properly. Walking barefoot over the floor after using the Hoover is a delight it just feels clean on on the feet. I don't think the dry vac feature is as bad as some say however for me it is just easier to simply sweep the floor first.
After owning any new item and using it for a while I ask myself this question. Would I buy it again? My answer in this case it absolutely!

I thought I already had clean floors, BUT when I used this Floormate the first time,my floors were so shiny that they had a reflective quality to them! The machine does an excellent job at cleaning and a fair job at drying. The first time I used it, the floors were so shiny, that my teenage son and his friends literally stopped in the doorway and asked how long the floors would take to dry. LOL They were really surprised to hear they were already dry. : )
I use my Floormate Cleaner every single day because I have a Yorkie puppy who has pee pee accidents. It picks those up and then washes the floor with clean and soapy water and then dries them, leaving them fresh and smelling good.
I didn't like the smell of the sample cleaner that came with it. I prefer "yummy" fragrances. I use just a little bit of LYSOL Orange Breeze 4 in 1 All Purpose Cleaner instead and it works beautifully.
I am SO glad I bought this machine, it was worth every penny and I only wish I had it years ago when my kids were little too!
