Having had this vacuum for maybe 18 months now, I can tell you I thoroughly despise using it. Cleaning our relatively small studio apartment, I have to empty the device each and every time I clean: the capacity for collecting debris (before the suction power becomes too poor) is just that small.
Whilst that wouldn't normally be a huge concern, just emptying the device is a huge pain. The cheap, plastic of the debris container seems to attract dust (statically charged?) and my attempts to flip the lid off (dust everywhere), shake it upside down (more dust everywhere) and then need to unclog the filter by hand (even more dust everywhere) seems to make the whole "HEPA" thing a lot less of an attraction when you're breathing it in anyway each time you empty it.
Add to that the fact one of the cleaning attachments has already split, and I can assure you that this is not the vacuum cleaner for you.

June 25, 2007 I at first LOVED this machine.
I couldnt say enought about it.
However within a year it started to dissintegrate before my eyes.
The first part to go was the vaccuum head. It would work then not. Now its to the point i must unplug the unit to turn it off. Next came the release mechanism to use the pipe without the vaccuum head, the plastic release snapped off .. I am 40 not 4 and pamper my belongings. This unit was disappointing and now I need to purchase a new machine....

I absolutely love my new vacuum! It has three strengths of suction which is great for all the different rugs in my house. The bagless feature is great too.

I bought my first hoover canister vacuum about 4yrs ago and at first loved it. I thought the suction was great and I loved the ease of changing out attachments. However, as the months went on the vacuum slowly fell apart. The foot pedal to disconnect the main attachment broke so I had to use a screwdriver to change out the attachments after that. The suction started going downhill, the hose ripped, etc. But the biggest problem I had was that it would short out on me...sometimes it would turn on and other times it wouldn't until finally it stopped working all together. I had the first one for 2yrs before it kicked the bucket. Because I was happy with it for awhile and the price was decent I went ahead and bought another hoover canister right after the first one broke. It's been almost two years since I bought the second one and I have had all the same exact problems! So I've gone through two of these canister vacuums in less than 4yrs. It's not only the canister vacuums I've had problems with. In the last 11yrs of my marriage I've gone through various hoover vacuums and each one only last about 2yrs. I've finally accepted the fact that they are NOT made to last!! I've finally learned my lesson and will NEVER buy another hoover vacuum ever again!

This vacuum has everything you need in a vacuum. It has suction adjustment, attachments, (brush)roller control (on/off), double air filtration, and it's flexible. It finds dirt my old Oreck never even knew about. The only downside is that it sucks in so much dirt that you might have to empty the cup quite often. Our housekeeper loves it too. I highly recommend it.
